I don't think you can (but Knobby is the reliable source for this).
Media can only be linked to. The only exception to this rule is for images, which can be uploaded.

You do it the same way as you do for pictures- use the “Attach files” button, then insert it into your post.

In which format - the site will not accept wav nor MP3
The one I uploaded is an mp3 file.
Remember… there is a 2mb file size limit so whatever the file is it has to be 2mb or less.
(Now we have much more storage space available for the forum I may increase the limit a little)
