So, everyone got your goals and resolutions for 2024? It’s that time of year again.

I will set up a 40 minute accordionists forum zoom for us to meet up and talk about where we’re headed in 2024, or anything else. In the past the attendance has been low, but it’s been fun nevertheless.

How about next Saturday, January 6, at 6:00 pm (18:00), London time (Greenwich Mean Time, GMT)?

Please let me know here, or pm, if you’re interested. I’ll post a link when I set it up.

Anybody in? Or want to suggest a better day/time?

Tom -- I am interested in the Zoom meeting. I am flexible and should be able to attend whatever time you set up.

Just so I understand the time, I am in EST. So, I figure the 6:00 P.M. meeting would be at 1:00 P.M. EST for me.

Thanks guys! Yes, 1:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.

No hope for those of us in Australasia and Asia, then. ( Except sports tragics who will stay up all night to watch others playing wit their balls )

18:00 GMT is 02:00 on the West coast of Oz and 04:00 in Qld/05:00 in daylight saving States; the previous day!

Not that it will affect me - I zoom not, never, to anyone nor everyone. ;)

I might be up and awake by 11AM my time in a Saturday morning. But I don't have any new year's resolutions about getting up earlier so no promises!

Hmmmm, good point, Fingers. Hard to come up with a time that works worldwide. What time would you suggest?

No worries! If you’re around, no resolutions or goals needed. Hope to see you!

Sunday is better. A week day could also work for me.
Thanks Jeff. I picked a weekend day hoping more people would be available. I’m ok with going with Sunday, January 7. How would that work for everyone else?

Would love to be there but 1:00pm Saturdays I am on the Jiu-Jitsu mats taking my lumps (lol), and cannot make it. If it was 2 hours later, I could make it, but maybe someone could record the event and make it available? A Sunday would work for me, as I don’t go to church. :D

Ok, let’s go with Sunday!
Crap, you caught the quote before I removed my “heathen“ joke… lol
Go with the majority, Tom, if Sunday works, that would be awesome. If not, a recording would at least keep me in the loop. :)

Tom, I will be there weather permitting , but important things like grass cutting will have to take priority

I can't make next Sunday as we are going out for lunch, after church, with some folks and won't be back in time. If you have another meeting, I'll make that one. Normally, we are back from church by 1:00 p.m.

I am not back in town before the 8th, and I don't feel like it would make much sense to join without the ability of grabbing any instrument or scores or anything else I am not going to take with me on the road (let alone that my laptop's mic/cam are not what I consider overly useful for Zoom). Not saying that this should keep people from meeting, just saying that up to then it's pretty sure I won't be there, or at least not actively.

Let’s stick with Sunday and see how it goes. Problem is no date or time works for everyone. Don’t worry about playing, Dak, we’ve got limited time anyway, so probably mainly chatting.
