I always found sixths being really difficult fingeringwise. The fingerings (those at the bottom) feel really weird. Anyone who feel the same? I have seen other fingerings for the double note scale (in certain piano books) but these seem to be the most popular. I hate how everyone play melodies in sixth when I cant.
Also it seems that the highest notes in the double scale is played differently with the thumb moving in a way that doesnt fellow the time of legato, right?
It should be easy but it is freakingly hard.
There must be some kind of secret that I am not able to figurer out.
Any tips om playing sixth?

If you want to play sixth without any trouble, change to CBA. Not a problem there.
But seriously, on PA this requires large flexible hands to do right. The alternative they give with the moving thumb is a reasonable compromise as you play the upper notes in legato and not the lower notes unless you just slide the thumb, which only works if its all white keys.
If you hear someone playing legato sixths a lot, without any trouble, and you cannot see them, chances are they are playing CBA.

I cant really see the chart you posted. Have you consulted Hanon for Accordion by Charles Nunzio? Theres almost anything you need in those pages for all sorts of fingering situations.
