sorry if this is in the wrong category I wasnt really sure if this would belong here or somewhere else. Ive had a go at playing this song https://chordify.net/chords/super-m...heme-nightshader1?edit=_fake_1445827435_17475
using the chords provided however when I give it a try I cannot get past the part where it goes from c to g as I cant seem to see when it changes Ive tried just using c until sounding wrong and then thought well it changes here but that didnt work if you guys wouldnt mind could you please have a quick look as Ive been playing for half an hour and cant get past this part. (still im getting pretty good at the first bit lol)

You mean the first two bars? It seems to be one bar C then one bar G then one bar Gm

Nice modern Ragtime -- Change bass & chords every 2 beats to a 4 beat measure .
Its ragtime and played stride piano - bass & chords change at times in twice in a 4 beat measure.
The accordions we play have a Stradella bass that was designed to copy the stride style of a piano. Bass - Chord Bass Chord -- as this the left hand plays Bass Chord - Bass Chord -

And on accordion--

not entirely sure what you mean.

when you say bass and chord change twice in a 4 beat measure can you explain a little more so I understand a bit more on theory.

thanks

2 beats C then 2 beats G in a 4 beat measure.
The Bass & chords change twice in a 4 beat measure
But the tune was in 2/4 time not 4/4 time. The chords change in some measures twice, and some measures stay the same.
If you can read a piano sheet see here-
