Midivox III Help Needed

i also considered converting a Midivox to battery powered and wireless,
and did wire up 5 volts as a test
(4x1.2 volt D-cell NiMh worked fine)
however, when i do it, will probably make a belt-pack something
with (an indented non-drifting) volume pot where i can reach it
because
i prefer to set my MIDIbass general volume first which i would need that to do

so a belt pack that holds the batteries, has the volume handy,
and sits between the WIDI and the Midivox is my project goal

anyone have an extra 'Round Tuit i can borrow ?

That is precisely what I am doing, sending both left, right, bellows, and program change, control change. So far I have found no issues. Now I’m going to draw up a kind of schematic to do my 940. And then I only will have one in my “ collection” that is not wireless. It will be a little trickier to do, as it needs audio too, so it’s last on the list.

I use a usb cel phone recharge pack for power, on my Hohner, it will power the midi for as long as I can play at one sitting, and still have lots left. I am talking about 4 hours … 500 mah battery. My bass volume is regulated in my Ketron unit. So no need for anything special there. I just need to figure out the wiring, and it will be done.

Thanks for the schematic. The guys in the UK want $399 USD with cable. Midirig told me there is a difference between II and III but didn't specify.

Sounds like you had a nice setup. I like that you separated the mics. I did not know that Panny mics came with this. Although I actually have a different accordion than you. Mine is actually called AVD 3. Two low reeds and a middle and extended to high C 44 keys. I bought it from John Castiglione. It was made for someone quite famous but he passed on it once he tried it because it weighs a ton, so I was told by John.

I'll see how it plays out on eBay. The bidding ends on Monday. If that falls through I'll just let it go for now and keep an eye out for one eventually.
Hello Tony. I see this post is over a year old, but was wondering if you ever came across what you needed.
I might be able to help you out if you haven't!
