JerryPH:
I had hoped that the website ads. would be gone by now.
The site was made a good few years ago; its a bit out of date. I have some new pages waiting to go up but time is limited. I spend more time on repairs.
Copyright is a problem too as I'm aware of at least one of the pages being reproduced in a book coming out of Germany, a bit unfair as I drive their cars,
play their accordions and wash my shirt in one of their machines!!

A nice copyright lawyer and a letter to this company and... bam, your choice of them removing your work, or paying you. Been there done that, but with photography, not a website. Don't be afraid to protect what is yours... if you can prove it, you can protect against it.

:o Just a note for our Forum members :o The website talkingreeds.com although very informative is infected with a  Trojan downloader, however. Please run an anti-malware program if you have visited the site and your computer did not pick up the problem immediately. This site was clean in the past but, times change, and better to be safe than sorry

Sound advice... always better to be safe than sorry. People shouldn't be surfing on the web anywhere without good AV/malware protection anyway.

BTW, don't know about the malware, but the commercials on talkingreeds.com are all gone. :b

Ah, were back on this debate.

Bing still finds problems with this site.

However on digging deeper their last scans for malicious/suspicious content were a couple of days ago. So maybe check it later. Ive lowered the security settings but get the same result.

The site is still hacked, judging from the fact that there's still hidden junk. For example - go to "Reed Valves", and view page source. See the hidden div that starts with "Rather the doubt rule will therefore final effects of increased dose of cialis"? That came from the hackers. This is their game today, with this page, it's just to increase reference counts for their vile content, but they can do what they want on this site.
