I have this piano accordion and there’s openings (you can see between the keys) on the centre section of the keyboard. How can I go about fixing this issue?

Unless it affects playability don`t be too concerned. If it`s obvious damage then it might need attention .
I`ve seen this (warping) on Chinese instruments often because they don`t age their woods properly or do they always use the correct kind.
It`s rarely seen on Italian or other European accordions unless exposed to moisture and that itself causes other issues that are even more serious.

You didn't mention the make & model of your accordion.
The keyboard might have worn guides or warped keys or both. In both cases you will have to disassemble the keyboard for repair.
