Actually, would more notes help?
The notes are what they are (I did not leave out sharps or flats).Corsaire said:Still doesnt help. Ive tried going down to E and up to E, major and minor, and still cant get it.
Theres always the possibility that I dont know the tune !!
Im going to give it a bit more time. Put all the tips together: its all in one octave, its not a sad song, its from a German composer who already died, he may not be the first you think of but let me add that he composed and performed many many songs during his long life. He lasted for long enough to be considered quite famous.Corsaire said:Ive played every configuration I can think of ... and I still cant get it ! There must be someone out there ......
Yep, I said I was practically giving it away bit indeed it is Happy Music (not sad music), the composer who isnt the first to think of and who lasted a long time is James Last... I thought this was making it too easy.Corsaire said:Well done, Geoff - Id never have guessed it, even with all the clues (must use crossword brain next time !)
James Last is a voice from the past (!) I remember hearing his music many, many years ago when I lived in Germany.
