So, you want/got a smaller, lighter accordion?

Yes. Kenya in Africa. The temperatures were lower than my home in Montana, because although we were at the equator, we were at altitudes of 7000 feet most of the time. My Italian backpack case seemed to keep out the dust just fine. Children loved the Bugari, and one little guy kept asking me to play the “woo-woo machine.” I play a lot of Louisiana-style, and it sounded like that to him.

This is what most people need, a Hohner Student VM with 60 basses.

(I modified it, added the extra 12 basses (2 rows, but lot of work!) and the range is now B to Ab. Someday i will move the reeds to make it F# to Eb)

The air compression of that instrument was bad. It was a very damaged instrument, and it was hard to play that song with leaks. The first work was the bass. Then, next week, he came with the accordion to repair the missing corners and leaks (4 missing corners! imagine how leaky it was).
